Poppy Seed Muffins

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 eggs
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup butter, room temperature
1 tablespoon almond extract
1 cup milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, poppy seeds, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, butter, and almond extract. Mix until well blended.
Add the flour mixture and milk into the large bowl. Mix until just incorporated.
Pour batter into a greased muffin pan.
Bake for 20 - 22 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool muffins on baking rack.
