Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
6 ounces bittersweet dark chocolate, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugars together for about four minutes until light and fluffy
Add egg and vanilla extract, beat for 30 seconds.
At a low speed, add flour mixture until just incorporated.
Fold in chocolate chunks.
Form 1 ½ tablespoon balls.
Place cookie dough balls onto baking sheet about 1.5 inches apart.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Rotate pan and back for an additional 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove cookies from baking pan and let cool on wire rack.
