¼ cup warm water
½ teaspoon granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
4 tablespoons butter
1 large egg, beaten
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
Directions
In a large mixing bowl combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Quickly stir. Allow to sit for 10 minutes until yeast mixture becomes foamy.
In a medium microwave safe mixing bowl, add milk, butter, honey, and salt. Microwave for approximately 1 minute until butter is melted. Let sit for a few minutes to cool.

Once dough as doubled in size, punch the dough to remove air.
Place the dough on a floured surface and divide into 12 equal sized pieces.
Take each piece of dough and fold the edges to the down, creating a round shape.
Place dough pieces, smooth side up, into a lightly greased 9x13 baking pan. Leave approximately ½ inch between each roll. Cover pan with plastic wrap and allow to sit in a warm location for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Remove plastic wrap and place pan in heated oven.
Bake for 22 minutes.
Once rolls are done, immediately remove from pan and place on a cooling rack.
