Custard Pie

Ingredients
6 eggs, room temperature
1½ cups whole milk, room temperature
1½ cups heavy cream, room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
pinch of ground cinnamon
pinch of ground clove
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl mix, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
Add milk and heavy cream to the large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes until mixture is smooth.
Pour filling into prepared pie dish.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until filling sets.
Notes: Ensure that eggs and milk are room temperature before baking. Custard pie is best served chilled. Garnish pie with whipped cream and berries.
