Almond Bundt Cake

Ingredients
Almond Cake
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup ground almonds
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs, room temperature
1 ½ teaspoons almond extract
1 ¾ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup milk, room temperature
Almond Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
¼ cup milk
½ teaspoon almond extract
½ cup toasted sliced almonds
Directions
Almond Cake
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 12 cup Bundt pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground almonds. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar for about 4 minutes, until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating for 30 seconds between additions.
Beat in almond and vanilla extract.
At low speed, add flour mixture in 3 parts, alternating with milk. Mix until just incorporated.
Pour batter into Bundt pan.
Bake for 60 - 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool on rack for 10 minutes before removing from Bundt pan.
Pour glaze over warm cake.
Almond Glaze
Combine powdered sugar, milk, almond extract, and toasted sliced almonds in a small bowl. Stir with a fork until fully combined.
