7-Up Pound Cake
This is hands down my favorite cake! It’s a must have at every family gathering. The key to this cake is creaming the butter and sugar for the full 20 minutes.
Prep Time: 30 minutes | Cook Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes | Servings: 16 slices
Ingredients
1 ½ cup butter, softened
3 cups granulated sugar
5 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons lemon extract
¾ cups 7-Up
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Grease a large Bundt pan.
In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar for 20 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour and lemon extract, mix until just incorporated.
Fold in 7-Up.
Pour batter into the Bundt pan.
Bake for 60 - 75 minutes.
Cool on rack for 20 minutes before removing cake from Bundt pan.
